We happened to have learned there was a large fiber cut in New York City, apparently caused by a fire in a manhole. A large portion of the northeast United States is seeing issues of increased latency. Because of this, people may experience issues getting to our services (higher than normal ping times, packet loss, unable to conect, etc), should part of their route take them through the affected area.
