United Kingdom Data Center and Network

We can supply carrier grade backhaul from most UK Datacentres Guaranteed Layer 2 Connectivity We are able to deliver high speed backhaul services to our clients at competitive prices, due to our direct relationship with many national fibre providers. We can provide wavelengths between 100Mb/s and 40Gb/s, based on your requirements, and are happy to arrange diverse, dedicated feeds to meet your exact needs. We can manage your Layer 2 connectivity or simply deliver raw wavelengths and give you, the customer, control.
We use a mix of providers to guarantee high speed and high availability across all UK, European, Transatlantic and Asia Pacific countries. Because of our strong links and direct peering arrangements with many UK providers, we are able to offer competitively priced Transit to customers large and small. We charge based on your chosen commit (95th percentile) per Megabit/second - This figure will greatly vary depending on the applications you are running and the traffic your servers handle. As a rule of thumb, an average figure and a good starting point for a full rack of servers, we'd suggest a commit of around 20-30 Mbp/s and supply a Gigabit fibre or copper port. We can supply bandwidth graphing to our customers and allow you to change your commit on a monthly basis, with 30 days notice. If you prefer to work with overall monthly transfer figures, the simple conversion below may help you to decide; 1Mbps = 320GB, 10Mbps= 3200GB, 20Mbps =6400GB, 50Mbps=16000GB, 100Mbps =32000GB, If you have a larger requirement, we are happy to discuss bulk pricing and are amongst the most competitive in the industry.
Germany Data Center and Network
With the construction of the first data center park in Germany, Hetzner Online has set a precedent for other data center operators to establish operations in Falkenstein (Saxony) for mutually-beneficial competitive advantage.
Several data center units have already come into operation in Falkenstein since the summer of 2009. In total, the data center park has more than 100,000 square meters of space on which to build.
A new infrastructural concept is being used on site, which takes into account the most critical factors needed for the successful operation of a data center such as fast connections and maximum stability. Moreover, this unique design allows for the layout of critical supply lines on site and for easily accessible maintenance tunnels between separate sections of the building to optimize networking between the various data centers.
This new concept makes it possible for data center units to be built and connected to the existing power and data networks in a very short space of time. Redundant connections to the adjacent power station guarantee power input and multiple fibre optic connections to Frankfurt and Nuremberg ensure the rapid exchange of data.
Aside from the infrastructural aspects, the site also offers economic advantage in terms of synergy and economies of scale by concentrating several data centers in one area. Potential savings to be made on data center operations include, for example, power supply, air cooling, staff and building security costs.
A further incentive for the Falkenstein data center park is the possibility of funding through the investment aid scheme and GA-funding (Joint Agreement for the Improvement of Regional Economic Structures) as well as a low business tax.
- Optimal power availability owing to redundant connections to the adjacent power station
- Multiple high-speed fibre optic connections to Frankfurt and Nuremberg
- Redundant layout of critical supply lines
- Easily accessible maintenance tunnels to optimize networking between the various data center units
- Cost-effective establishment of air cooling and emergency power facilities
- Over 100,000 square metres of buildable space
- New data centers can be built in a very short space of time
- Possible funding by investment aid scheme and GA-funding
(Joint Agreement for the Improvement of Regional Economic Structures)
- Low business tax
- Potential savings in terms of data center operating costs
France Data Center and Network
Each router manages four C-class network, that is 4x256 IP. A distribution router is used for reducing the bandwidth of each server but only on its link to the Internet. It means that the server communication is held with 100Mbps. Our clients may obtain one dedicated web server and one SQL,and they will communicate with 100Mbps speed for free. The only condition is the servers connection to the same IP class, that is to the same router.
